Amy Cunningham is the founder of CSA. Amy has a Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Texas Health Science Center and is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. She continues to be integrally involved in all aspects of the school, and serves as President of the Board of Directors.
Jeannette Young is the Director of Curriculum and Instruction. She has been with CSA since 1991. She worked as a lead therapist and then Assistant Director for several years before becoming the Director in 2006. Jeannette has a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center. She holds a Texas License and ASHA certification in speech-language pathology.
Ysidra Williams is the Assistant Director - School Age unit. Ysidra has a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and was a lead therapist at CSA for nine years. holds a Texas License and ASHA certification in speech-language pathology. Ysidra holds a Texas License and ASHA certification in speech-language pathology. She joined the Capitol school staff in 2000 and is a current member of the Board of Directors.
Karen Bodden is the Assistant Director - Pre-School unit. Karen graduated from UT Austin with a Master's in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Karen previously worked at CSA as lead for Language Stimulation, Level 1, Level 2, co-teacher for Level 5/6, and summer camp lead teacher. She has also worked as an SLP in the public school system and in private practice. Karen holds a Texas License and ASHA certification in speech-language pathology. Karen completed her clinical fellowship in speech pathology at Capitol School and joined the staff in 2006.
Rob Hoffman is the Business Manager. Rob is a long-time friend of Capitol School who joined the staff in May 2005. Rob has a Texas state teaching certificate and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the University of Texas at Austin, ten years of corporate experience, and five years experience in elementary education.
Tami Leeper is the Office Manager and Fundraising Coordinator. Tami is a former Capitol School parent who has stayed actively involved in development activities and facilities management at Capitol School for many years.
