Starstruck Casino Night at Capitol School
Viva Las Vegas! Thank you to all the families and friends who came to our Starstruck Casino Night on Saturday, November 14th! Capitol School's main auditorium was transformed into a casino floor with poker, blackjack, roulette and more. Valet parking donated by Central Texas Valet. The auditorium was bustling with full game tables, groups of parents getting to know one another, and several Board members mingling with staff and parents. Capitol School parent Dave Tworoger even arrived dressed as a high roller in a black tuxedo! See below for paparazzi photos of the evening.
Guests enjoyed dinner and drinks served from a giant die, learned to play casino games, and then gambled the night away. "Winnings" were traded for a chance to win one of five great prizes. Five lucky people can now say they beat casino odds and brought home a big win!
The evening included a slide show of our students and a presentation of our fundraising project for the year: replacing the aging covered walkway in front of the main building. If you didn't attend and would like to contribute to this project, please contact the office. Proceeds from this fundraiser directly benefit the children of our unique, non-profit program.
