Beverly S. Dunn, MT-BC, our certified music therapist, teaches music in the pre-school and school-age programs. The music program incorporates musical instruments, singing, improvisation, pictures, puppets, hands-on experiences and dances in order to improve kids' communication, socialization, academic and musical skills.
Ms. Beverly has been with Capitol School since September 2002. She received her degree in Music Therapy from the University of the Incarnate Word in 1997. Beverly also offers private music therapy sessions in Capitol School's Evaluation and Therapy Clinic.
