Summer Camp Programs
     

Summer Camp Registration is Closed.

Capitol School of Austin's summer enrichment program is full and no longer accepting new applications.

Our school year speech & language program still has space available for children ages 2.5 years to 3rd grade. For information or to receive an application packet, please complete an intake form.

 

 
     
  Summer Camps  

Preschool – This language intensive program will focus on developing vocabulary and concepts related to each week's theme. Children ready for group activities will benefit from these language-based classes. This camp is appropriate for children ages two to five years, who are entering preschool this fall. This camp is full. Registration is closed.

 
     

School Age - This class is designed for children who are in kindergarten through 3rd grade. Appropriate reading and math skills will be interwoven into science, literature, cooking, and art activities.

Lower-Ratio - This program is designed for pre-school age children, ages 3 - 5 years old, who need help developing or enriching receptive/expressive language and pre-academic skills in a very small group setting. This camp is full. Registration is closed.

 
   
  Important Dates  
 

April 9 , 2010 - Cancellations made in writing by Friday, April 9 will be eligible for a 50% refund; no refunds will be issued for cancellations received after April 9.

May 3, 2010 - Registration closes.

February 7 , 2011 - Enrollment opens to the public for the 2011 summer enrichment camp.

 
     
  Camp Admissions  
 

Families that are new to Capitol School will need to submit a Capitol School application packet, which includes:

  1. Application,
  2. Case History, and
  3. Copies of current speech, OT, and educational evaluations.

The admissions committee will schedule a one-day classroom visit for your child next spring to ensure appropriate placement. To request an application packet, please complete the online intake form or call the school office at (512) 467-7006.

Current or past Capitol School families need only request a camp registration form.
