About Me

Annette is a graduate of the University of Texas with a degree in General Special Physical Education. She also holds a graduate degree from Farleigh Dickenson and is certified as an Orton Gillingham Reading Therapist/Practitioner. In addition, Annette served on the Board of The International Dyslexia Association with Houston, New Jersey, and Seattle.

One of the many highlights of Annette’s role as a therapist is experiencing her students expressing their feelings of empowerment and seeing their resilience through their therapy sessions. When not working, she is very passionate about staying active and often enjoys hiking 5-8 miles on the weekend or going swimming. She also loves to use her creative side and enjoys drawing and painting. In addition, Annette is a mom to three amazing children that are all independent and following their passions.
