LDC Teaching Assistant
Ari received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Race and Ethnicity Studies from Southwestern University. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Special Education from Texas State University and is set to graduate in the fall of 2023. Ari also holds a certificate in Power Yoga and is currently pursuing certifications in EC-6, ESL, and kids yoga.
Ari has been with CSA since 2018, and she loves working in a collaborative community that strives to provide the best learning environment for students while being supportive, encouraging, and caring for everyone that is a part of the school. Ari knew early on that she wanted to work in early childhood special education after working as a camp counselor for children who are deaf or hard of hearing. Before joining CSA, she interned at a school for deaf and blind students in Quito, Ecuador, and spent time as an intern at Head Start Early Childhood Center in Georgetown, TX.
Outside of work, Ari loves being outdoors! Some of her adventures include hiking, paddle boarding, yoga, meditating, and of course, spending time with her rescue dog, Kona, and her partner, Diego. She is also a big advocate for social justice and culturally inclusive instruction.
