About Me
Lisa has her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and attended San Antonio College, St. Mary’s University, and the University of Texas. She started with us in 2021 as our fantastic new Art Teacher, and she comes to us with 31 years of experience after retiring from Austin ISD, where she taught 2nd and 3rd grade at Highland Park Elementary. Joining CSA is a new experience for Lisa, and she is enjoying learning new things along with all of the students.
Lisa is an 8th generation San Antonian but moved to Austin to attend UT in 1982. She has two sons, Lane (31) and Lucas (26), and a dog named Lacey. She and her partner, Spencer, enjoy going on walks, traveling, watching movies, and trying out new restaurants. Most days, she still subs at Highland Park, and when she’s not working or doing another activity, Lisa enjoys relaxing in her recliner and watching Ted Lasso.
