About Me

Rebecca received her BA in Elementary Education with a specialization in Early Childhood Education from Louisiana Tech and holds a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Texas at Dallas. Rebecca originally joined the CSA team from 1999-2002 when she served as a Lead Teacher in levels 2 and 3. She returned in 2021 to assist in the Level 3 classroom. She has taught Pre-K and Kindergarten in Irving ISD, worked at The Callier Center in Dallas, and also worked as a private speech therapist.

Rebecca loves that CSA provides a place for children with speech-language differences to learn in an environment where they are celebrated and feel comfortable. She believes that making kids feel like they fit in makes all the difference in their educational experience.

Rebecca and her husband celebrated 25 years of marriage in 2021. They have three sons, Jed, Will, and Ian. She enjoys swimming, hiking, cycling, reading, and attending their sons’ swim meets and mountain bike races in her free time.
