Welcome parents!
Thank you for your interest in Capitol School of Austin (CSA) for your child. For more than 30 years, it has been our joy to help students who struggle with language-related learning differences become confident learners. CSA’s mission is to provide an enriched learning environment where children with speech, language, and learning differences can reach their full potential and develop skills necessary to succeed in future educational settings.
Our highly-skilled and compassionate teachers and therapists offer a comprehensive and collaborative team approach to addressing the complex speech, language and learning needs of young students ages 2 years – 5th grade. We work hard to create a positive therapeutic environment for children with average to above average learning potential, but for various reasons struggle to learn in traditional settings. CSA’s low student to teacher ratio and high number of masters level speech language pathologists on staff are what make the program unique and successful.
At CSA we believe our students can and want to learn! They benefit from small group research-based instruction and a structured, multi-sensory approach to learning which empowers them to become effective self-advocates. Our school community includes the teaching staff, parents, grandparents, board of directors, alumni and community partners who truly care about children with learning differences. We are pleased you have found us as you search for the best possible options for early intervention for your child and hope you will take the opportunity to learn more about our unique program by taking advantage of our campus tour scheduled Visitor’s Days. Our admissions process is designed to inform you about the program and to give you recommendations in your child’s best interest.
We are privileged to be a part of the journey you and your child are embarking on to best support their speech, language and learning needs. You can request a tour by filling out the information on the “Request Tour” button on this website.
