About Me

Jamie earned her master’s degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at the University of Texas, Austin. She has experience at the Blank Center for Stuttering and at an inpatient rehabilitation hospital. She loves that Capitol School of Austin provides a safe and supportive environment for students to strengthen their communication skills and build meaningful relationships.

She is from San Antonio, Texas, and moved to Austin for undergrad. In her free time she enjoys reading, doing crossword puzzles, exercising, and watching soccer. She also plays piano and loves to practice whenever she gets the chance.
