About Me

Ligon is a graduate of the University of Texas and holds her master’s degree in Speech Pathology from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center. She originally joined the CSA team in 2010, spent four years with us, took a break, and has now rejoined our team as our new Library and Drama teacher. Before coming to CSA, she spent seven years working with Austin ISD as an SLP. Ligon loves the collaboration and supportiveness of the staff at CSA.

Outside of her love for working with students, she enjoys spending time with her husband Paul and their two daughters Gracey and Annie. As a family, they love to go to Colorado and the beach! She also has a passion for cooking and owns a start-up catering company called The Plated Poppy.
