About Me

Ysidra holds her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and her Masters of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Texas. She has also obtained an ASHA certificate of clinical competence in Speech Pathology (CCC-SLP). Ysidra has been a part of the CSA team since 2000, and she has spent most of that time working as a lead teacher, but she has also spent some time as an assistant director and a board member. She loves helping the students build communication, speech, and academic skills and seeing the positive impact it has on both them and their families.

Outside of work, Ysidra enjoys spending time with her husband and their two daughters, and they love to go vacationing! She enjoys reading books, watching UT sporting events, and playing on a competitive women’s kickball team.
